If God had said to me “I want you to write a book,” I would be looking around to see whom He was talking to. Feeling like insecure Moses, I would have said; “Do what? You have great authors out there. You don’t need me. I’m not author material. Please send someone else.” That would have been the end of that conversation!
However, being the all-knowing God that He is, He just prompted me to write short articles on things I’ve been learning that could help others. After I had shared these articles over time, a friend said to me, “You know, these articles are very helpful. I think you should consider putting them in a book.” At that point, it didn’t sound so intimidating. I took that suggestion seriously, and that led to the birth of my first book: "Get On Board and Stay On Board" (be a Christian and remain a Christian). It contains articles on salvation and articles on the Christian walk. So God got me to write a book without asking me to write a book. I have since then published several books with one translated into Spanish. I've completed my first children's book and there is more to come. Please stay in tune.
